Hello everybody and welcome!
I’m an assistant professor in the Department of Statistics, Applied Economics and Management Organization at the University of Córdoba. I received my PhD in Social Science from the same University in 2019.
My personal research explores the analysis of demographic phenomena and the application of computational methods for modelling them. Quantitative finance, economics and the field of econophysics are other lines in my research profile.
I am a passionate user of R and Python for statistics and economics, data analysis and visualization and Quarto, Git and Github, among other software, for writing reproducible research, using version control, and managing my workflow. I blog here about using these tools in my research, teaching and learning and how to use new tools and software for open science.
